Her family owned the Jackson Koehler Eagle Brewery established in 1847 in Erie Pennsylvania where her grandfather John Martin Magenau Jr. served as the company's President and CEO before its demise in 1978. Jacobs started her acting studies when she was eight years old, and she took class at the Pittsburgh Playhouse. She performed at Pittsburgh's Public Theatre. Pittsburgh Public Theater, where she took home the public's Shakespeare Monologue Contest many times. Mt. Jacobs completed her studies at Lebanon High School, New York in 2000.
